Seth works as a research coordinator at the University of Minnesota for Kang Lab and the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Muscular Dystrophy Center. His work primarily focuses on research participant recruitment, using his background in clinical genetics to help coordinate enrolling affected individuals into ongoing studies. His work involves researching neuromuscular disorders and DNA repair disorders, such as Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and Cockayne Syndrome. 

After earning a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Seth worked in Dallas, Texas as a genetic counseling assistant at UT Southwestern on a cancer genetics team. He returned to Minnesota to attend graduate school, where he earned an M.S. in Genetic Counseling in 2021 and joined Kang Lab shortly after graduation.
